Wheels 2 Work Scheme

From mid-December 2024 to March 2025 we are working in partnership with South Gloucestershire Council to deliver a Wheels 2 Work scheme to help reduce the barriers to work, training and education for residents of Yate, Chipping Sodbury and surrounding areas.

Participants can access a refurbished bicycle, with an accessory pack (helmet, lights, lock and panniers by request) if they are:

• Currently unemployed and seeking employment, education, training or skills (or a change in employment if earning under the living wage).
• 16+ and in need of support to travel to a work, education, training or skills opportunity such as travel to interviews, open days, jobs fairs, courses, training, work placements, apprenticeships or the first month of a new job.
• an asylum seeker or refugee resettled in any area of South Gloucestershire.
